A Message from the YPGP Co-Chairs!
Hello YPGP Members,
June 1st marks the start of a new year for YPGP and with that a new group of officers. As the new Co-Chairs, we look forward to continuing the growth of the organization. We particularly want to thank the outgoing co-chairs Ryan Alwood and Jessica Moroz for their leadership efforts this past year.
We are also celebrating our 3rd anniversary as a committee of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, a relationship that has given our organization much needed visibility and staff support. Please join us at the June social this Thursday to celebrate!
In addition to our traditional events like the monthly socials, the leadership academy in the fall, lunch and learns, and get connected events, new this year is a Health and Fitness subcommittee. The goal for this subcommittee will be to promote physical fitness while at the same time allowing our members to network in the community.
On the membership side, YPGP is proud to announce Corporate Memberships. These are available to any sized company, looking to embrace young professionals within the organization. Whether you are an employer or an employee, help us retain and recruit talent in the Peoria area. When the Peoria community embraces our young professional leaders everyone stands to gain big rewards in our quest to attract and retain the world's best talent.
While we are always looking for new members, of particular importance is gaining members who want to be active and make a difference for YPGP. Check out the website for ways to get involved on our various subcommittees. Just as the organizations we work for need to be thinking about identifying and developing the next generation of leaders, YPGP is always looking for new voices and participants.
We hope to see you at the upcoming YPGP events this year!
