IT Recruiter and Staffing Specialist

Pearl Technology, an information technology consulting firm with an outstanding reputation, is seeking a strong IT recruiter/staffing specialist with a strong track record of success for their Peoria Heights, IL office. Responsibilities include sourcing of candidates, recruiting, interviewing, screening, salary negotiations, reference checking and pipeline development. Heavy emphasis will be given to those with the ability to deal in a dynamic team environment.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

* A proven track record in recruiting/staffing
* Bachelors degree
* The willingness to do whatever it takes to meet submittal time frames with a zero tolerance for failure
* Great verbal and written communication skills
* A professional appearance
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Understanding of IT related technical terminology
* Experience demonstrating that you do not believe recruiting is an 8-5 job

Responsibilities:

1. Intensive candidate sourcing and selection to meet on-going needs for Pearl Technology  2. Development of creative and innovative staffing and project solutions for more difficult to fill openings – including; internet efforts, networking, associations, cold calling, etc

3. Building a “soft” bench of qualified candidates that we can pull from for areas where we have recurring recruitment needs

4. Maintaining/Updating/Tracking all recruiting oriented activity in database 5. New hire orientation and completion
