Secrets of My Success Tip - Mary Ardapple

 During last night's Secrets of My Success presentation by Mary Ardapple of Apple's Bakery, Mary made some very insightful observations and recommendations for YPO Members.

 One of the best Gems that she put out for everyone was the recommendation that when YP's attend non-YPO focused social functions such as Chamber After Hours, that they do so as representatives of YPO in addition to their representation of their company and take the opportunity to speak about their involvement with the group.

 For instance, instead of introducing myself as Amy Lambert from Heart Technologies, I would say that My name is Amy Lambert and I work for Heart Technologies, but I am attending this evening as a representative for the Young Professional's Group.  Do you know about YPO?  Can I tell about why I am a member and why i am so passionate about the impact of this group of professionals? 

 From that moment, you will have given yourself, your company and the YPO a greater sense of credibility.
