Please bring your lunch and join us for a YPGP “Lunch & Learn” featuring Dr. Cristina Esposito, President of Alignlife located in Peoria, IL.  Dr. Esposito will help us understand “Stress and the Hidden Effects on Your Body” by exploring the following areas:

 

  • Find out why you lose muscle tissue due to stress        
  • Learn how stress causes weight gain
  • Uncover the effects stress has on your sleep

 

After gaining an understanding of the impacts of stress, Dr. Esposito will then show secrets of reducing stress and maximizing your energy.   

Bio of Dr. Cristina Esposito:

In 1998, Dr. Cristina Esposito earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.  She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian.


While in graduate school, she co-founded a non-profit organization, Health Missions, which was created to provide natural health care to the under privileged, to educate the masses on the benefits of living a chiropractic lifestyle, and to conduct chiropractic research for the betterment of the profession. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Esposito went on a mission trip with an integrated group of healthcare professionals and provided chiropractic care to hundreds of people in San Miguel, Mexico.


Additionally, Dr. Esposito has become a Certified Clinical Nutritionist which allows her to provide a truly integrated, natural approach to healthcare. Dr. Esposito is currently in the process of obtaining a Diplomate in Pediatrics from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association and the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice. This advanced certification is a 360-hour course of study including a Board Certification and clinical competency with advanced clinical application courses.

She has received a Whiplash and Brain Traumatology Certification, which consists of advanced diagnostics, treatment, and management principles in personal injury cases, as well as, forensic documentation. She is dedicated to the Gonstead System of chiropractic due to its focus on biomechanical analysis of the spine and its specificity in delivering a chiropractic adjustment.
