As young professionals, we work hard at our careers to provide for our families and increase our wealth. We diligently save for retirement and for our children's college education. But is this enough to protect the wealth we've established and our family's future? The July Lunch and Learn Series will feature a presentation by attorneys Kenneth C. Baker of Miller Hall & Triggs, L.L.C. and Derek A. Schryer of Davis & Campbell L.L.C. probing these and related issues through a discussion about estate planning concerns faced by young professionals. How do I appoint a guardian for my children? How are assets transferred to my children or spouse? How do I minimize tax liability? What is the difference between a trust and a will? What is probate and can or should it be avoided? Should I worry about the estate tax? You are invited to engage in a discussion about estate planning issues concerning young professionals.
