Pair Up for Health Trail Race Challenge

Wildlife Prairie State Park

June 12, 2010 at 8:00-10:30 a.m.

 Pair Up for Health combines the beauty of the trails at Wildlife Prairie State Park with the challenges of an obstacle course.  The three mile trail race challenge includes rolling hills with one 10% grade hill while incorporating obstacles such as small hurdles, stairs and a 58-foot slide.  There will also be a 1/8 mile children’s fun run that will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. 

Participants may register online at www.PairUpForHealth.com.  Prior to May 29, the registration fee is $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.  Thereafter, the registration fee will be $25 for adults and $15 for children.  Registration will be available during packet pick-up on Friday, June 11 from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Running Central.  Race day registration will be accepted from 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.

All participants will receive the official Pair Up for Health race packet which includes a reusable grocery bag, complimentary samples from Clif Bar and more.  Following the race, participants and spectators are invited to spend the day at Wildlife Prairie State Park.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers as well as the top three finishers in each age division.  Awards include Pearl Izumi running shoes, Road ID gift certificates, Smoothie King gift certificates, RiverPlex Recreation and Wellness Center guest passes and more.

All proceeds from Pair Up for Health will support the Junior League of Peoria and our work to build a better community.
