The 5th Annual Art Fair at Junction City

Event Date and Time:
June 5, 2010 - 10:00am

The Peoria Art Guild will host the 5th annual Art Fair at Junction City on June 5-6, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Art Fair at Junction City showcases the talents of 65 artists living within 150 miles of Peoria and expects to attract over 10,000 visitors. The Art Fair is free to attend.

The Art Fair at Junction City also offers live music provided by local musicians. This family-friendly event also features a Kid's Art Festival where children can create their own make and take art projects. This year's projects will include Funky Frames, Marvy Masks and BEADutiful Beads.

At the Art Fair at Junction City visitors can stop to talk with the artists while looking at beautiful original artwork, listen to local musicians play, and visit the unique shops and restaurants of Junction City. "It's a great family event. Incredible artists, inspiring musicians and an energetic Kids Art Festival - all in a wonderful venue. We can celebrate the artists and artwork in our area and showcase some outstanding locally-owned businesses at the same time. The Peoria Art Guild is thrilled to once again work with Junction Ventures to provide this great event to our community" said Kim Armstrong, Peoria Art Guild Board of Directors co-president.

In partnership with Junction Ventures, the Peoria Art Guild started the juried Art Fair at Junction City in 2005 to celebrate the talented pool of artists in our area. The Art Fair at Junction City is a success thanks to our generous sponsors, a helpful staff, an abundance of volunteers, and an artist-friendly community atmosphere.
