Get Connected! A Brown Bag Lunch Event to Connect YP's with Volunteer Opportunities in the Peoria Area!

Event Date and Time:
December 16, 2009 - 12:00pm

YPO's Community Connection subcommittee presents a non-profit lunch-and-learn series called “Get Connected.” Held every other month, this series educates YPO members about non-profits in the area as well as the various volunteer opportunities available among the presenting agencies. This is a great opportunity for YPO members to become more involved in our community and learn what non-profits are doing to make central Illinois a better place to live.

Join us December 16th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the Heartland Partnership offices at 100 S.W. Water St. Bring your lunch and sit back and learn more about the following non-profits and volunteer opportunities available:  Heart of Illinois United Way (HOIUW)Speaker:  Darla Ardis, Fund Distribution Outcome Specialist    http://www,hoiunitedway.org/    HOIUW is a volunteer driven organization that depends upon thousands of volunteers annually to reinforce and move our mission and vision forward.
