The August Secrets of My Success speaker will be Mr. Sandy
Moldovan. Sandy is regional vice president of STS, a full service consulting
engineering firm with offices across the Midwest. The Peoria office,
formerly Clark Engineers, Inc., has completed projects such as the Interstate
Route 74 Reconstruction, the Shoppes and Plaza at Grand Prairie Mall, the
Peoria Civic Center Revitalization, and the Benson Wind Farm in Woodford
County. In addition, Sandy is also commissioner of the East Peoria Police
& Fire commission, board member on the Economic Development Council for the
Peoria Area, member of the CEO Roundtable, board member of the Illinois
Workforce Investment Board, and vice chairman of the Heart of Illinois Regional
Port District Authority.
Sandy will discuss his experiences, successes, challengers,
and provide advice for young professionals. The Secrets of My Success allows
young professionals to meet with business and community leaders in an informal,
candid session.
Drinks and Hors devours will be provided.
Directions: Enter through the pair of doors located off of
Jefferson St (directly across from the Courthouse doors) bewteen Main and
Hamilton St. This door will automatically lock at 6:00 so don't be late.
Once inside, take either the elevator or the silver door and
staircase down. At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and proceed ahead
in to the Hazen Room.
Parking along the City streets is free after 5:00. In
addition, parking can be validated for both the Associated and Commerce Bank
parking decks
